Ornamental plants are used for decorative purpose in our gardens, in our balconies or any of our landscape projects. The reasons we are planting and caring them is not only a passion. We are creating unique and designed places with the touch of nature which makes our house lovely.

Ornamental plants from leaf which are growing inside the pots of our apartments like: Croton, Dieffenbachia, Dracaena, Ficus, Philodendron, Sanseveria, etc. they are luxuriantly growing in the summer. The environmental conditions are obviously better, high temperatures and abundant brightness, are in fact ideal for the development of these species of tropical origin.
But remember though to repair them from direct sunlight that cause unsightly burns on the foliage.

If you have a balcony or a garden expose them correctly, you can expose the plants directly outdoors in a sheltered position. Proper water management is the fundamental problem of the summer: keep well wet the soil in the pots and spray the leaves of plants.

The beauty of ornamental plants from leaf is determined by the abundance and the lush of the foliage and a proper nutrition is essential because guarantees large size leaves, intense colors, brilliance and accentuated streaks.

Our green plants need nitrogen, which promotes the development and flourishing of the green parts of the plant, and phosphorus, which stimulates root development, and potassium, which regulates the water content of tissues and thus favors’ assimilation of all other nutrients.

For the nutrition of plants in a vase a very useful solution could be a liquid fertilizer for plants, every 10-15 days, depending on the type and size of the plant, but generally inside this period gap.

But our conclusion, if our purpose is to guarantee to our plants enough longevity, then we should focus more on a proper mix of soil, which above all ensure a complete action against diseases and feeds them correctly, with the elements required for the growth and the right humidity for the vase.
